In Texas, employers are generally divided into two categories: workers compensation subscribers, and nonsubscribers. If your employer subscribes to Texas Workers Compensation, you will be entitled to statutory benefits and should consult a workers compensation attorney. However, if your employer does not subscribe to “workers comp”, the employer is liable as a “nonsubscriber”. Our firm vigorously pursues “nonsubscriber” workplace injury cases. If you’ve been hurt at work, and have questions about whether your employer is a nonsubscriber, feel free to contact us.
Types of cases accepted: wrongful death, catastrophic injury, car / motorcycle wrecks, trucking accidents, workplace injury (if employer is a nonsubscriber to workers compensation), medical negligence or malpractice, dog bites, personal injury, power line electrocution, and school assaults. We accept cases all over Texas, but most often accept cases in the following counties: Grayson, Fannin, Cooke, Hunt, Collin, Dallas, Denton, Tarrant, Lamar, Montague, Harris, Travis, Harrison, Potter, Randall.
